For those who are still waiting for the 2019 Reimbursement Check for Medicare part B and D Extra Income Premium:
The Division of Pensions has alerted NJEA that they have mailed reimbursement checks to Medicare recipients eligible for reimbursement from 2019. Exceptions to this are people who did not submit the correct paperwork. These people have been sent a letter instead. Anyone who has not received a check or a letter and is expecting a reimbursement check should contact the Division of Pensions.
Going forward, NJEA Director of Research and Economic Services, Kevin Kelleher, and the Division of Pensions urge people eligible for a 2020 reimbursement to send the required documentation through MBOS.
